Pine Cay, home of The Meridian Club, is a secluded 800 acre island offering two miles of talcum powder beach. This is an environmentally sensitive resort, ideal for those seeking an unspoiled retreat. There are only 12 rooms and one cottage set among undisturbed stretches of sand dunes, sea oats and sea grapes. Each spacious room fronts directly on an often desered beach. In addition, privately owned cottages dot the island, several of which are available for rent.

The resort is well-known for excellent cuisine and an attentive staff. The Clubhouse holds the restaurant, bar and guest lounge and overlooks a shimmering pool with the Caribbean beyond. Surrounding waters teem with friendly fish and varied marine life. Underwater visibility is excellent and there are miles of coral within easy reach. Guests enjoy many island activities, swimming in the ocean or fresh water pool, biking, sailing, shelling, snorkeling, tennis, and relaxing by the beach. Staff can arrange exceptional bone-fishing and deep-sea fishing as well as excursions to nearby islands.

Since there are no automobiles, television, radios and ringing telephones at the Meridian Club you are left to enjoy the island's abundant natural pleasures. The Meridian Club is for the discerning traveler who wants to relax and enjoy a quiet, undisturbed setting for their holiday. Privacy and solitude are our trademarks.

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING...
Listed as one of eight "Hot" resorts based upon readers' reports. Comments include:
"An unpretentious, non-glitzy Caribbean Oasis"
"Warm staff ... fine new managers"
"The most fabulous deserted beach"
– ANDREW HARPER'S HIDEAWAY REPORT, June 2007

"Meridian Club, Pine Cay, Turks and Caicos A New England couple developed 800-acre Pine Cay in the 1970s as an enclave for families who yearn for the days when summer houses had no telephones or TV. The club offers cottages set back from the beach, a pool and tennis; a family can also rent one of nine houses (twenty-seven others are privately owned), each of which comes with a golf cart and bicycles - the only way to get around on the island and the ideal speed for the lifestyle here."
